Bradenton, FL March 2012 - Present

Currently serving as Department Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department of K-12 students and faculty. Continuing to develop and teach engaging curriculum in Art, Photography, Filmmaking, AP Studio Art and Yearbook. Responsible for coordinating annual student art exhibitions. Summer Camp Instructor for grades K-12.

TRIP LEADER / NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC STUDENT EXPEDITIONS

On location, June 2023 - Present

Photography instructor and trip leader working with students to document US National Parks. Planning trip itenerary to include an immersive hands-on learning experience to share techniques of photography and visual storytelling.

SUMMER FACULTY / ‘IOLANI SCHOOL

Honolulu, HI June 2019 - August 2019

Developed and taught an introductory course to students in grades 6-12 in the basics of film making titled “Fun with Film!”. Students focused on planning, shooting, and editing skills necessary for producing videos that convey a message through their artistic vision.

Sarasota, FL. August 2008 - 2012

Successfully developed new and innovative lesson plans for 6 different courses offered at the college. Collaborated with the Ringling Museum to present informative workshops and lectures. Guided students software and technology use to support a wide variety creative approaches.

Created a thriving photography business specializing in editorial and event photography. Hired and trained multiple interns and employees. Established and maintained a loyal client base of local and National publications including Getty Images, Elevation Photos, OK! Magazine, Variety Magazine, Sarasota Magazine, Creative Loafing, SAKS 5th Ave.
